Product Overview
Flitpay is a cryptocurrency exchange platform that enables users to buy, sell, trade, and earn on digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. The platform provides a complete crypto ecosystem including wallet management, spot trading, staking, gift cards, and portfolio tracking. The product supports both beginner and advanced users who want to participate in the cryptocurrency market.
My Role
As the product designer for this project, I was responsible for redesigning the entire mobile application experience across iOS and Android.

The Product Problem
Over time, Flitpay evolved by continuously adding new features to support the growing cryptocurrency ecosystem.
While the platform became functionally powerful, the user experience became increasingly complex.
Several key problems began to emerge.
Research & Competitive Benchmarking
To understand how successful crypto platforms structure their experiences, I conducted a competitive analysis of major global exchanges including:

Key Insights
Successful platforms prioritize:
• Clear fee transparency
• Simplified trading flows for beginners
• Strong portfolio insights
• Trust signals in transaction flows
Product Hypothesis
The redesign was guided by a central hypothesis:
If the platform reduces decision friction and increases transaction transparency, users will activate faster, trade more confidently, and return to the product more frequently.
Three core design principles guided the project.
Experience Transformations
8.1 Onboarding & KYC
Features covered:
Sign Up | Sign In | KYC (Aadhar, PAN, Selfie)
The onboarding flow was redesigned to simplify identity verification while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Improvements
• Step-based onboarding

• Reduced user confusion during identity checks
8.2 Quick Buy / Sell
Quick Buy is the entry point for most beginner crypto investors.
The redesign focused on making the purchase process transparent and easy to understand.

• Clear confirmation state
8.3 Crypto Exchange and Markeplace
The exchange module supports spot trading for experienced users. The interface was redesigned to balance powerful trading tools with usability.
The marketplace allows users to explore supported assets and discover new investment opportunities. The redesign improved asset discoverability and simplified browsing.

8.4 Wallet
The wallet section manages crypto balances and transaction history.

8.5 Earn
The earn module allows users to generate passive income through staking.

• Lock-in period transparency

8.6 Deposit & Withdrawal
Depositing and withdrawing funds are critical financial actions.
The redesign introduced clearer instructions and confirmation states.
8.8 Profit & Loss
The portfolio dashboard provides an overview of a user’s investment performance.

8.9 Profile Redesign
The profile section was redesigned to provide quick access to account management and security settings.
Product Impact
Reflection
Designing financial products requires building trust in complex decisions. The goal of this redesign was to make cryptocurrency trading feel less intimidating and more transparent.
By reducing friction and increasing clarity, the product now supports both beginner investors and experienced traders more effectively.
